Key observations:

Unilever gives an excellent snapshot of the business model and organisational overview whith information linked to the strategic objectives of the company. Sustainability is positioned as an integral element of the business model and whilst a key objective of the organisation's strategy is growth, sustainability is included as an important moderator. The interconnectedness of growth and sustainability in both perfromance targets and as strategic drivers alludes to management's understanding of the importance of non-financial issues.

Quantified targets are also included which act as a crucial measure for the future perfromance of the company and a check on progress against more qualitative statements.

Finally, the presentation of the information is clear and provides an excellent top-level overview, with each element of the business model further evaluated in the following pages, creating a balance between conciseness and detailed evaluation.
