ABSA’s 2019 Integrated Report ensures that a balanced view of the business is provided within the first few pages of the report. Specifically, the ‘Performance Snapshot’ provides a list of challenges adjacent to the company’s successes in the year. Each has a short outline, providing vital context to the reader before further detail is provided further on in the report. This balanced presentation of positive and negative elements is in line with paragraph 3.45 of the International <IR> Framework.
