The entire content of the report is well-structured. Readers initially gain insights into the fundamentals of the potash industry, clearly elaborating on the important role the industry plays in society and its contribution to global food security. This is followed by an overview of Uralkali’s mission, business model and strategy which explains what the business is aiming to achieve, how and the fundamental ways in which the business is structured to achieve this. Issues surrounding the business environment are carefully considered through the engagement with stakeholders.
This set-up is followed by an introduction of the six strategic priorities on pages 22-23. For each of these strategic priorities, the vision, future focus areas, related risks and stakeholders impacted are identified. The key performance indicators follow this spread, showing which measures are used to determine the success of the business.
