The database contains examples of emerging practice in integrated reporting that illustrate how organizations are currently reporting concise information about how their strategy, governance, performance and prospects, in the context of their external environment, lead to the creation of value over the short, medium and long term.

This database is a collaborative project between the Value Reporting Foundation and Black Sun Plc, an international stakeholder communications agency with roots in corporate reporting.

Value Reporting Foundation is the merged organization of the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB). The Value Reporting Foundation is a global nonprofit organization that offers a comprehensive suite of resources: Integrated Thinking Principles, The International Reporting Framework and SASB Standards. These resources are designed to help businesses and investors develop a shared understanding of enterprise value—how it is created, preserved and eroded.

For over 25 years, Black Sun has helped organizations to effectively articulate their unique story to employees, investors and wider stakeholders, driving positive change by promoting better practice in communication and reporting.
